Privacy Policy

Piano Nova is a project by Ivan, based in Cyprus. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. What We Collect

Right now, we only collect one thing:

• Email address — when you join our waitlist.
• Usage data — via Google Analytics: pages visited, time on site, referral source, device type, browser, country, and language. This data is anonymous and cannot identify you personally.

2. Why We Collect It

We use your email address solely to notify you when Piano Nova launches. We will not send marketing emails, newsletters, or share your email with anyone.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your email is stored in a database hosted by Supabase, a cloud infrastructure provider. Supabase servers are located in the EU. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

4. Who Has Access

Only the Piano Nova team (currently one person — the founder) has access to waitlist data. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep your email until one of the following:

• You ask us to delete it.
• We send the launch notification and you do not sign up — we will delete your email within 90 days after launch.
• You sign up for Piano Nova — your email becomes part of your account, governed by the full terms of service (published at launch).

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Piano Nova is based in Cyprus (EU). Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Objection — object to processing of your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@piano-nova.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time spent, device type, and approximate location (country level).

Google Analytics does not collect your name or email. IP addresses are anonymized. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Changes to This Policy

When Piano Nova launches, this policy will be updated to cover account data, payment processing, and usage data. We will notify waitlist subscribers of significant changes by email.
